Chaos is a part of our daily routine that is irreversible. It goes on forever, from attending calls to beings social in life for both personal and professional levels it becomes difficult to connect to one self. We often forget that it is our relationship from within which sets a tone for relationships of the outside world. We often focus so much on what’s going wrong instead of what is right for us. Ever find yourself wondering where you’re going wrong? Or what is it that is lacking from your side that is stopping you from achieving what you really want? These are nothing but your disturbed mind and negative thoughts which talk to you.
Everyone wants to fulfill their dream life and in that process they often leave behind what’s necessary for health that will in turn help us build our dream life. We go through so much of stress and tension that it disturbs our mental state bringing in un-wanted issues with our health. These issues come up because we don’t have time to think and vest in the right thoughts. So, the best thing we can do is to try and bring a little piece of peace in our daily lives. This can be brought in by meditation.
What exactly is Meditation?
Meditation is the action or practice of meditating, an action that helps you to get in touch with your mind, body and soul.
So, how does one start with meditation?
Give yourself a few minutes every day to sit in quite “meditation”. You might be a new bee at this so begin with five minutes. To be honest, there is no right or wrong way to meditate. Sit quietly, observe your breathing and allow the thoughts to flow. We have given so much of power to not-so-important thoughts that they take over our mind. So, allow all the thoughts to pass. Give them no importance and they’ll pass on. It’s the nature of the mind to think, so don’t try to get rid of your thoughts.
There many different ways in which you can explore and find ways to meditate. Follow any way you like. No matter where you begin, you will eventually find the best method for yourself.
Ask yourself, what is it that you want in life? What answer do you want? And, you’ll see that the answers will come to you. If not now, then it will come to you later.
This was one form of meditation, another one is to sit quietly and observe the breath as it goes in and out of your body. As you inhale, count one and as you exhale count two. Continue counting until you get to 10, then go back to one. If you notice your counting takes you to 25 or so, just go back to one.
Daily meditation helps enormously. You begin with 5 minutes and then gradually increase your time.
Meditation not only calms your mind and body but it also helps you to invest in positive thoughts and positive attitude. A calmer mind is often a sharper mind. It brings your acts together leading to more concentration and meaningful flow of thoughts.
